Lease deed

(Querist) 12 August 2013 This query is : Resolved
Please help. I am from West Bengal. I want to execute a lease deed in favour of a company in which I am a partner. What should be the denomination of the stamp paper, that I should execute the lease deed in?

Also I want to change the address of the firm mentioned in the Partnership deed. How to go about it? And also the stamp paper denomination for it.

What is the basic difference between Tenancy agreement and Lease Deed?

Please help as soon as possible.

Your statement "I want to execute a lease deed in favour of a company in which I am a partner" is not understood. No one can be a partner in a company.

Further, you have said "Also I want to change the address of the firm mentioned in the Partnership deed."

First clarify position w.r.t. company and firm.

Stamp duty is required to be known locally. Address in partnership deed can be changed at any time and fresh deed is required to be registered in the office of Registrar of Firms and societies of your area.

You need not to know the basis differece of may terms which you aske.

Without knowing the details of your matter , it is difficult to advise.
In WB one does not need to pay stamp duty of the lease is for month to month basis.
