Hello Sir,
I've just received notice from my last home owner today. I've relocated to current address with my family member on 30th Nov.
we was tenet in his apartment from last two year and on 30th Nov we shifted to our new address and we had given one month notice before living his apartment.
our apartment owner was also staying in same building apartment with his family and we had requested him to check everything before we move to our current address on that time he was saying all is good in his apartment.
now he send notice in which he has mentioned false allegation about that his wardrobe has been stolen and we had damaged his bathroom fitting costing 1 lakh,
while true fact is that , there was no such fitting which cost 1 lakh in his bathroom and
both of this allegation are false.
now we need help and advice what right step ,
we should take to handle this notice
Regards,
Krishna

it is merely extortion tactics by the flat owner . at time of handing posession did you not obtain any letter from flat owner that he has inspected the flat and found flat in inhabitable condition and that no fittings were damaged . . he must have retirned your SD . if wardrobe had been stolen would he have returned your security deposit .
