Maintanance in dv act

wife earns substantial amount of money through tutions. there is no receipt or any proof. but through her lawyers letter she has admitted of giving tutions. can students parent be summoned in court to testify? Will this amount be considered while calculating maintanance which husband has to pay?

DV is neither strict criminal nor strict civil procedure: Magistrate have ample freedom to decide the case quickly.
