sir is it important that after doing court marriage if a boy is muslim n girl is hindu .. then acording to muslim law "nikaah" must be complusory otherwise court marriage would not be taken into consideration by muslim law ??? nd nikaah is performed only when girl gets converted into muslim... does court marrige is nt an enough evidence for marrige or muslim law is difrent frm govrnmnt law which needs nikaah to b performed??

solemnize their marriage under 'SPECIAL MARRIAGE ACT' which is the best for inter religion marriage. no nikah or convertion is necessery.

a muslim cannot marry hindu unless she converts and becomes a muslim . for traditional nikkah conversion is necessary .
in such a case when marriage is performed under Special Marriage Act girl can continue to be a hindu .
The following terms must be fulfilled to file for marriage under the Act:
The marriage is a civil contract, involving no form of rites or ceremonies.
Both parties must not be involved in any other existing valid marriage.
The parties should not be mentally incapacitated, and must be capable of giving a valid consent for the union.
The bride must be at least 18 years old, and the bridegroom must have attained 21 years.

Marriage under special marriage act is the only remedy for the persons from different religion.

there is only one option - solemnize their marriage under SPECIAL MARRIAGE ACT. It is the best marriage in case of inter religion marriage and no conversion or nikah is necessery at all.

Ans: Court marrige is enough evidence for marrige. Muslim law is different from other marriage acts.
