Mental Harassment and Torture at workplace

Hi...I am working in Psu under the Central Govt and I am a female employee. My boss wants me to stay back at office after working hours of office. He forces me to work after office hours while 90 percent of the office leaves at that time. Feeling insecure in the office..What should I do?? Can I complaint against him National Commission of human rights or Women..Please advice as it is the mental agony which I am suffering from.

you can make complaint at your higher officer, as per law, every pvt and non pvt company should appointed women harassment prevention officer in every office.

As per section 3(iv) of Sexual harassment of women' at work place (prevention, prohibition and Redressal)Act, 2014, interference with her work or creating an intimidating or offensive or hostile working environment for her connected with any act or behavior of sexual harassment may amount to sexual harassment. any aggrieved woman may make in writing a complaint of sexual harassment in the work place to the Internal complaints committee or local complaints committee. The other procedures as per the act may be followed up.

1. Can it be termed as mental harassment & torture if the superior officer asks his female assistant to stay little longer in the office alongwith 10% of total employees for doing official work, for which complaint to the National Commission for Human Rights can be lodged?

2. Does it not fall under the purview of labour law or shops & establishment act which specifies working hours?

3. Experts views in this regard are awaited to update myself.
