Mishandling of Account - ICICI

Dear All,
I have an account with ICICI and my card was used fradulently; have blocked the account immediately on noticing the same and made written complaint with FIR in local police station.
This happend in Jan 09 but ICICI not responding to my claim.
Surprisingly, received some more debits in Mar 09 through some card number which was never received by me.
Need your guidance on the action that could be initiated to fix this matter and to make ICICI to pay compensation.

Write a written complaint to the bank explaining the facts of your case, attach a copy of the FIR, incase bank doesnot respond properly then file a complaint against the bank in the local police station and approach court for redressal of your grievance.

first Issue a notice to the Bank asking for the clarification, if the bank failed to respond u property, they u can file a consumer complaint before the dist., consumer forum for playing unfair trade practice by the bank and nor providing better service.

Thanks for the suggestion. I should have explained that we have sent the complaint to the ICICI and made multiple complaints to the call centre to clarify the position. But the response is always general and no one wants to own the mistake and organise the resolve the issue.
Do i proiceed to issue a lawyer notice to ICICI seeking compensation - if yes, which legal authority i should approach for the above issue. Thanks.
