Mistake in cross examination

(Querist) 10 May 2017 This query is : Resolved
In cross examination in 138 case, accused counsel asked complainant for denomination of notes given . Complainant answer was wrong. Amount was given 90000, receipt and cheque for 90000 , but he answered 50 notes of rs. 500. Now what will be fate of case. How can we correct it to save the case. Can we request for re cross examination.

Such questions have hardly any weight-age in rebuttal u/s 118 qua presumption u/s 139 of the NI Act,1881.
However, just wait for judgment, which shall be based on entire records/evidences but not in peace-meal.
