misuse of scanned copy of documents

A month back I accidentally left scanned copies of my pan card, photo and sign with one of my friends and now im afraid he may use it for illegal purpose. What legal course should I adopt so as to avoide any future problems

how you left your sign, was it in scanned form, on blank paper, on cheque or otherwise?
If he does not return on verbal request write through registered post that he has not returned the proofs and not to use these in future.

You create a record for having left the said copies of the personal documents with your friend by sending him a legal notice asking him to return the same. When in future he manipulates it for some wrongful gains, you can challenge the same with the help of the evidence created now.
