If her mother remarried, her mother will not get pension. And if she is un-married, she shall apply for pension along with the proof that her mother is remarried and no other earning member, she will get pension.

Hindu Adoptions and Maintenance Act: sec;20 ' the responsibility of maintenance of unmarried daughter lies on both parents'
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 25 April 2016
She can claim share in the assets left by her father.

If she is not earning she should claim maintenance from mother.

Now she is in the age group to start earning herself and get rid of the problem.

I agree with the opinion of Mr.Satyanarayana. The girl should apply for payment of family pension to her as her mother got remarried and hence no longer a member of her late father.
P. Venu (Expert) 26 April 2016
She is entitled for family pension instead of the mother.
