Raj sir and Ramesh sir excuse me for repeating the querry as I want to make my querry more clear n specific. here i go...
Mr Ramesh, I am joyce, a lady. thanks for the reply. I know the meaning of juridiction, but in one of my case mvc is filed at other district where accident took at anothre distrct,& parties reside again in other different district, So hw can this petiton be tried? to be clear: Accident at Mangalore, parties resides at Bagalkot dist, filed at Gadag dist. Can it be entertained by Gadag court is my querry?

Joyce! Not only district can be different but also the States can be different wherein the Motor Vehicle claim can be filed by the claimants.
In the modern age, accidents are taking place day to day while traveling in different states through different modes of transportation and in such event the claimant can file their claim as the place of thier choice. Ordinary place of jurisdiction wherein cause of action arises has no bearing in mvc cases.

I agree with Mr. Raj and more over the insurance company of the vehicle is almost having branches all over india, so the aggrieved petitioner can file MAC cases any where in India
