My great grand father property which was registered in between 1940-1960 was going to sale on now so

which law applies now legally,Hindu Succession act 2005,comes into force or not.

Does it is must to give equal share to daughters ,grand daughters and great daughters too,

Those all daughters were given complimentary money in their marraiges more than the share they will get.

My contents are relating to A.P. I do not know of which state you belong. Check up what is the legal position in your state.

As per the latest ammendement, even the daughters are entitled for equal shares in ancestral property in the same way as males do. Complimentary money to daughters is termed as Stri dhana (pasupukunkuma) in A.P. Inspite of it they will get their share in the properties. The law is very liberal in favour of woman in A.P.
