Sir, this is EDAYATH.
i want to correct my name in 10th and inter and degree.
In all my relevant documents my name is AS SHAIK EDEITH.
BUT MY CORRECT SPELL IS SHAIK EDAYATH.
IT WAS PARENTAL MISTAKE. AND IN ALL MY SCHOOL RECORDS IT WAS AS SHAIK EDEITH.
BUT I WANT TO CORRECT IT AS SHAIK EDAYATH.
BUT IN DEO OFFICE THEY ARE TELLING IT WAS NOT CORRECTION IT WAS CHANGING NAME AND THEY RETURNED MY APPLICATION DUE TO LACK OF EVIDENCE.
BEACUSE OF PARENTAL MISTAKE.
THEY ARE TELLING TO GO THROUGH MRO AND COMMISSIONER. THEN THEY WILL.
WHAT TO DO SIR. PLEASE GIVE ME A CLEAR WAY TO CORRECT/CHANGE MY NAME.

The spelling of Edeith and Edayat are substantially different and may amount to change in the name. If u are from the State of Maharashtra you may issue a notification in the official Gazette of the State declaring that from the date of the Gazette ur name shall be Shaik Edayath.If u are from any other state u may enquire from the authorities the steps to be taken for changing the name.
