Respected Sir,
I took new flat (under construction now). got the same registered on 16th Nov. Today I received the xerox copy of my sale deed. Noticed my name is mis-spelt. Please let me know if i need to go with Rectification/Correction Deed. If yes, any idea on what stamp value i need to get the same corrected.
Correct name : Venkata Naga Gangadhar dileep Juluri
Printed name : Venkata Naga Gangadhara dileep Juluri
Mistake is extra 'a' at end of "Gangadhar(a)"
Thanks a lot in advance.
Dileep.

Dear Devajyoti Sir,
First of all thanks so much for responding.
On what stamp paper this rectification deed should be executed and how much will the registrar charge to register the same.
After the doing the rectification deed, will EC show the correct name?
Thanks, Dileep.

Agreed with experts. You or the builder must have got the registration through somebody or somebody must have prepared the deed and helped in getting the registration. Approach them. They will get the rectification deed. Expenses will not much.

It is not a big/ major mistake. No need to rectify it. Even if you want to go for rectification, only nominal expenses will be charged.
