My father purchased a 3000 sq foot plot in 1982 in group buying. Total 32 people were in group buying. As per my dad, land was not divided among them. Now almost all people has sold out their share except my father. And no vacant land remained there.
We have current 7/12 and ferfar with me. No other document we have with us.I can get certified sale deed from government office.
Some people has suggested us to file a case in court.I am confused against whom I will put up case? I don't know exact piece of land we own.
I expect to get market price of plot even if I don't get plot. Please advice what is possible here.
Is it advicable to file a case in court? If yes, what are the chances I will get my plot/market rate money of the plot.

What is your query? You want to know the market price o way to recover your share? Where is the need of suit when your father has got the share? First clarify these points. If there is any dispute amongst then rergarding share in the plot then your father needs to file a [partition suit.

As 31 co-sharers occupied 32nd share among themselves. Now nothing remains for you except to file partition of the land wherein all those persons shall come to you for making compromise.

apply for a certified copy in the sub registrar of the property and you will get all the details
