Ossification Test

Under what circumstances the magistrate can order for the ossification test of the accused to ascertain the age of the accused.

a magistrate can order ossification test to assartain the age of a person, where there is no documentory evidence available. but if there is a birth certificate or a school certficate no ossification test is permitted.

I am supporting the answer given by the L Expert.If there is any controversy arises in the existing records the Court can ordered ossification test and also to determine whether the accused is juvenile or not.
