Your wife can file a suit for partition and seperate possession in respect of her 1/8th share in the property.

Obtain relevant revenue record of that particular land from revenue officers, engage a counsel of the nearest court where the land is situated and follow the entire guidelines of that counsel.

If agreed all can enter into partition and the stamp duty payable is 1% of market value/guideline value of the property, under partition subject to maximum of Rs.10,000/- per share.
