This query is : Resolved
Can a person who has left the Indian Air force after serving 4 years and also submitted papers but was not approved. He left the air force in 2008 and had the valid Indian Passport at that time. He was asked to submit the passport in 2011 after being dismissed from the force, but he represented himself though communication with the passport office and provided the papers and was not asked for it again till now.
So can he get the same renewed or will the passport be forefited? Also can he go abroad for work?

These problems are procedural and can be sorted out only by contacting the relevant passport office.

Thanks All for your replies!!
But I would like to put more details about the reason for asking for Passport surrender: Since Air Force has sent the letter to Passport Office declaring the person Deserter. Hence they checked there records and found that the person is already holding a passport. Thats why they sent the letter to surrender the passport.

Pass Port office will not be helpful to you in any manner.More over you would be an offender if you make any fresh application. You are now a deserter and person absconding.Better surrender before Air Force authorities with valid reasons thro a good advocate familiar with Rules of Air Force or forget about leaving your mother land
