Permissions from local authority,in case land has been alloted by central government

(Querist) 17 October 2013 This query is : Resolved
We had been allotted a land for use of establishing Petrol Pump & Allied Services by Ministry Of Environment & Forests at Gwalior(MP).

This land has been allotted to us to shift our existing petrol pump to new site.

My query is whether we will require to take permissions from various Government Authorities like Town and Country Planing,Municipal Corporation and Food Department etc ?. Whereas we had been allotted the land for specific purpose by Central Government.

Thanking you in an anticipation

You don't require permission from Food Ministry as Petrol Pump & Allied Services can't be considered food by any stretch of imagination. Regarding the other authorities as mentioned by you, you require permission. Please press the Thank you button on my profile if you wish to Thank me for this reply.

It is land alloted to you to shift the existing petrol bunk, so you need not to go for fresh permission. You are shifting the existed one.

The permission from local Municipality would be required.

You should inform the respective departments about the situation in writing and with acknowledgement. If the Food and supplies department also control the supplies of petroleum products (in some states it does) it also need to be informed in advance.

nothing more to add.
