Thru EPFO.
Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 12 November 2014
I agree with expert advise of Mr. Kumar Doab, it is not the company that manages the provident fund of employees but employees provident fund officer. Apply and get.

Consult EPFO office.

In order to withdraw the PF you have to submit form 19 and 10 C preferably through your employer. Depending upon the attitude and working capabilities of employees in the respective EPF Office, it will take 45 to 60 days to get your balance credited to your bank account.Withdrawal of PF can be done only after 60 days period after resignation.

Forms can be downloaded from:

Mr rajendra read the question first,

Employer is closed.

Guest (Expert) 12 November 2014
Mr. Zamin,

First of all, you have come here with a question on behalf of your friend. The question arises, is he an illiterate person that he cannot ask his question directly to the experts?

Secondly, Mr. Rajendra Goyal's reply is of the nature of general guidance for laymen employees from which others can also benefit, not only you or your friend. When you write "I NEED COMPLETE INFORMATION" don't think that anyone would give you spoon feeding from A to Z and you won't do any home work at your own level to get appropriate information based on the clues given by the experts.

If you prefer to tell Mr. Rajendra Goyal curtly to "read the question first," should I ask you what you have done so far when the experts advised you to apply to the Employees Provident Fund Office (EPFO), more so when Mr. Rajendra Goyal has provided you even the weblink of the EPFO?

If the "employer is closed" the EPFO has not closed by the closure of the employer. There are several other ways to claim the money from EPFO. There is a long list of FAQ on the website for employees, which you can open and read as per your own requirement. All the forms are also available there on the website, which you can access and download, where you need only application form. If you think everything should be spoon fed by the experts to you, God knows, if you ask the experts to arrange for the payment of the same at your own house or shop.

Mind it, samajhdar ke liye ishara he kaafi hota hai. After going through the website, if still you would have got any doubt, you could well have come again with your genuine doubt.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 12 November 2014
Author, please read the link and other information on web. If employer is closed even than the forms has to be submitted to EPFO for refund.
Kumar Doab (Expert) 12 November 2014
Agreed.
Expert Shri Rajendra K Royal has property guided in such a simple manner.

Shri P.S. Dhingra has surmised the heartfelt feelings of all.

The readers should also read Forum Rules placed on each page by the Admin of LCI and rule that decorum should be maintained and no one should be rude with contributors.
Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 13 November 2014
I respectfully disagree with expert advise and guidance of Sh. Rajedra K Goyal as he has gone much beyond the parameters of the query, which the author do not deserve, that too FREE OF COST.

I request the experts, especially Mr. Goyal ji, to restrict the opinion and advise within the scope of query, particularly such arrogant querist.

I fully agree, support and appreciate frank opinion and advise of Sh. P S Dhingra.

Dear Shri Kumar,

Thanks for your appreciation.

Dr. Vashista ji,

Thanks for agreeing with me in principle, lending your valuable support and appriciating my efforts to vent the feelings of the experts.

I don't want to argue with anyone. The forms need to be signed by employer before submission, so only I asked this question.
still i dont see any proper answer.
Only a person who has faced this issue, can answer.
Guest (Expert) 14 November 2014
Mr. Zamin,

You are just trying to argue unduly and unnecessarily, as it has become quite evident that you have not yet tried to open the website of the EPFO. Had you done so, you could well have found that the employer is not the only authorised person to sign the form.

About your vague argument, "Only a person who has faced this issue, can answer," you should know that the lawyers are not required to subscribe provident fund, like employees. So on that analogy also, you have knocked a wrong door, if you believe that only a person who has faced this issue, can answer.

So, if you are so egoistic and arrogant person, you should not expect the experts to spoon feed you with detailed information free of cost, as you have virtually tried to order them with the directive language, "I need the complete information, forms to fill, what other application to be made, etc." For that purpose, you buy the book on Employees Provident Fund from the open market or hire services of some expert by paying his consultancy fee.

Mind it, the experts here are not your paid servants or slaves to be behaved disrespectfully by you when you don't want to do your own homework even on their suggested lines. Your tone of addressing them in your posts is just like, as if you are giving direction to your subordinate employees.
zamin_s (Querist) 15 November 2014
I dont understand, y ur commenting on my query only.
Guest (Expert) 15 November 2014
Your egoistic remarks and mere repeated attempts to waste others time, besides not making any efforts to follow the solution provided by the experts and still inisting only on spoon feeding you through your sarcastic remarks is the cause of comments on your posts. In fact, neither the problem relates to you nor you want to do any home work at your level. If you are unable to follow the advice of the experts ask your friend to see the advice and act accordingly instead of posting your pungent remarks afainst experts. Still, if both of you are unable to understand what the experts have told you to do, hire services of some local expert to remove your doubts and give a 2 z sevice as a help to claim the pf dues of your friend.
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 15 November 2014
I fully share the feelings of Mr Dhingra.

By virtue of my experience in EPFO I can say that Mr RK Goyal has advised well.

The only thing is that the subscriber cannot get the claim attested by the company which is closed.

The query was not at all legal and matter of procedure and Mr Goyal still decided to help him, dspite his dictatorial remarks to earlier queriests.

the querist reacted :-

"Mr rajendra read the question first,

Employer is closed."

He did not even have the courtesy to start his name with Capital "R".

I know what is the solution of his anxiety but because of his arrogance I decide not to guide him at all.

T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 16 November 2014
Despite expert Mr.Dhingra explaining and reminding him of his nature and attitude, the author adamantly exhibits his arrogance without any respect or even basic courtesy towards the respectable experts who have spared their valuable time to give the author the correct information and proper advise. Expert Mr.Rajendra Goyal in his subsequent post has given more information and suggestion, but the author appears not to deserve a reply at all. Hence the author's query may be ignored abruptly.
