Pf details in epfo website is incorrect. employer not responding.

Hi,
I recently resigned a company and joined another firm in Chennai recently and I understand from my current employer that when they try to update my details in UAN portal, they are getting an error "Previous DOB against the entered UAN does not match".
It looks like the DOB details provided by previous employer when I joined in 2011 seems to be incorrect.
I contacted my previous employer for getting it updated but they are not responding.
After logging into EPFO website i found that my DOB, DOJ, Date of Leaving is not yet updated.
My current employer is unable to process my PF link request.
I am not sure how to proceed legally. Could you please assist?

Submit a written communication under proper acknowledgment to designated HR personnel of past employer.Attach screenshots from EPFO.
Ask to supply you the PF forms collected from you and deposited with EPFO, and acknowledgment issued by EPFO.
Did you keep copy of all employment related forms e.g PF that you signed and submitted?
If HR personnel does not respond then escalate to good offices of appointing authority,MD etc.
If good offices also do not respond, approach RPFC and submit complaint under proper acknowledgment.
Pursue thru RTI.
You can issue legal notice to past employer.

I don't have the copy of my employment forms. I will submit a written letter to my Previous company HR. Could you please let me know how to contact Good Offices. I'm not sure what it is.

The address should be known to you.
After all you worked with them.
Or it should be on appointment letter, at website etc...

They will not move unless uncomfortable
You are no more their employee
Given facts indicate that it is not your PF which is deposited as details do not match with you. File evasion complaint to PF office

Be explicit in your communications to good offices, and EPFO as suggested by Mr. Sudhir Kumar.
