Physical presence of stransferee while filling form 7b share transfer form

Dear Experts

I want to know that whether physical presence of shareholder(transferee) is required while filling Form 7B i.e. share transfer form. As transferee is outside India, can we post Form 7B abroad for his signature? Is the transfer valid?

physical presence of shareholder(transferee) is not required. the signatures of transferee on the share transfer deed should match the signature recorded in the company's data.
