pious obligation

how does the debt of a father is discharged after the amendment of 2005 wen sons are under no pious obligation to pay ?
please let me know the answer in detail.please send urgent reply.

If the daughters have inherited the equal share out of the property left their father then they are also liable to pay/discharge the liability standing towards any debt of their deceased father otherwise this pious duty is to be performed by sons only after amendment in inheritance law of a Hindu after 2005.
