This query is : Resolved
can these Share Auto/ Patpati's can be banned for the reason that it emits heavy noise pollution?
Your query is very pertinent but this cannot be done for the following reason: They are protected legally as there is a set mechanism of granting them licence to operate the service (however the catch is that it is the statutory authorities who are not doing their work diligently). Secondly it is a matter of policy of the establishment which cannot be otherwise looked into even by the Apex Court. Best Regards

i agree with daksh and add that it is open to you complain to the pollution control department about such vehicles which cause pollution and seek necessary action. similarly you can also complain about the traffic violations of the drivers .

But nothing will materialise in this country as the laws only favour the violators of enviromental law

Thousands of share autos are running in the city of chennai without marking any details to public notice about FC No, Insurance, owners address, etc. Even the drivers do not wear any badges or identity cards to indulge in public transport activities.
