Dear sir/ mam I m planning to buy an ancestral property. The owner died and he has 6 son and 4 daughter. All daughters given there NOC and new patta now made on his son's name. Now is there any role of grand son while buying this property.

No,grand sons have no right or shares in questioned property so they can not legally encumber in your buying the property.

NOC may not necessarily be equivalent to valid relinquishment deed.
Atleast make them agree to sign on sale deed as consenting witnesses.
Best is that you may show all mutation record and link docs to a very able counsel specializing in revenue/civil/property matters and let your counsel render legal opinion and draft your agreement to sell, sale deed.
