yes, make a request and pay requisite fee at your local sub-registrar office.

U can request the sub registrar and pay the necessary fess for that so if sub registrar agrees for that he will come to the premises, but I think now a days he will not agree for that because of computerisation. In the sub-registrar office vendor and vendee's fotos will be taken and will be scanned( this is procedure in Karnataka) . I don't what is the procedure in ur state.

1-Execute and Sign all the Sale Deeds for presentation before the SRO
2-Executed Sale Deeds to be presented before the SRO and to be admitted as executed by the Vendor and to be Registered and Delivered to the Purchasers !
3-As suggested by Mr Kumar and Mr Vadrali , you can request the SRO to attend your premises for registration of the Sale deeds , but the Attendance of the SRO at your premises is possible when the Reasons are acceptable to the SRO !
3-The Vendor should execute a Special power- in favour of his assistant and authorize him to present the executed Sale deeds before the SRO and to admit the Execution of the Sale Deeds and to get them Registered by the SRO in his office
This is the procedure in AP - it may defer in your state

Dear Jewel There is a provision in the Indian Registration Act and as per that provision you can request the concerned District Sub Registrar to visit your place for necessary registration. Moreover certain fixed amount as a fee is supposed to be paid to the Registrar.

executatns should present beforer the registering authority.
Registration farmalities should be done at Sub-Registrar office... there is some execptional circumstances sub-registrar can register the documents other places under the Registration Act.
