Query regarding agreement between employer and me.

(Querist) 12 December 2014 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir,
I have signed agreement with my company for 3 years. In this agreement no clause in my favor of me. That means this agreement is all in favour of company.
Now after two years when I want to switch my job, they are asking money from me as per signed agreement.
If I will not pay the same they will not do any final settlement.
And this amount is much bigger than te money I need to pay to company.
Please let me know if I don't pay this money as per agreement then can I claim for full and final payment to company or not?

what are the clauses of the agreement? what is the money demanded by the company? you are bound by terms of contract signed by you

Abide by the terms of the agreement you have agreed and signed. If you want to switch off, consult local lawyer dealing in service matters and show him copy of agreement and other related documents.

Both of you are bound by its terms and in any case without seeing the relevant clauses it is difficult to advise.

Both claiming dues and asking amount under the contract are in different position. But for both action the aggrieved party has to file Civil Suit. The employer can not withhold amount of dues on the ground that the employee has not paid amount under the contract. However, in case, the employee file suit for claiming dues, the employer can file counter claim for recovery of amount under the contract
