Hi, My son was born on oct2011, but due to some issues we did not get the birth certificate. This year only we applied for it and to our shock, the officers reported that someone else has got the certificate with different names. The father's name and baby name are completely changed. I need to get a certificate with correct name. Plz help

Generally the name of baby can not be changed in the birth record.
How the mistake occurred?
Whether name of mother / date / hospital details are correct?
If yes, you can try to obtain court orders for rectification of the mistake.
If you feel the certificate is not of the same child, get the birth registered via late registration process.

Name of mother/ date/ hospital details are correct. No one in our family proceeded for this and didn't know how this happened. When we tried to apply for late registration only they said it s already issued and can't be altered. Can u plz tell me how obtain court order to rectify this issuew
