Regarding lawyers fees and other documents processing fees

Dear sir/madam
i want to purchase a flat where in my city my lawyer asked me for 2000 inr for buying selling property agreement and charging me 10,000 INR for as fees and another 10,000 INR extra for property name trasfer in muncipal corporation after stamp duty ®istration fees, i just want to know that is this ok ? is itnorman fees for document proccesing and his fees for this work or he is overcharging me ? Reply the question raised by the expert.
Lawyer's Fees is mutually agreed amount between the client and advocate which cannot be ascertained to be genuine or otherwise.

Lawyers's fees differs from layer to lawyer. There is no fixed figure for this.
If you feel any hurdle to pay this fees you can always look for another lawyer charging cheaper fees.

Thanks to all to solve my query my property is 100% Legal all the documnets are genuine and bank give me loan of 8laks inr for this flat i just wanted to know that 2000/inr for buy sell agreement & 10000 /inr his fees is reasonable i dont know how much lawyer charge for this becoz i am just 25 year old and you all are well experienced thts why i asekd you .many thanks for your support.

I should not make comment on fees of another lawyer.
If you feel it unreasonable then negotiate with him.

Lawyers fee differ from lawyer to lawyer, you can consult another local lawyer dealing in such matters.

as u already have approved Sale Deed , on which bank gave u loan of 8L ; you now do other jobs by yourself. u will save money, at cost of ur time.. take help of neighbours who register their flats / trf municipal/ elect meter etc.
Lawyer's fee differ; and negotiable.
You can serch for cheaper lawyer, as it is legwork, not brain work, to register/ trf.
20k inclusive of muni trf fee or excl??

Thanks you sir for your reply and V R SHROFF yes sir he told me 10k for municpal trf fee including name trasfer into property and other expenses and his fees is 10k +2k for sale agreement

An. Advocate never like to talk about another advocate. It differ from lawyer to lawyer. If you feel it high then find competitive lawyer.

fees vary . if you dont want to pay the fees asked for by lawyer take another quote from another lawyer
