i have book a flat with amount of Rs. 50000/-. but due to personal reason i have cancelled booking . One month completed but builder have not return money till dated. In this regard i have already written a letter before month, but till date no replay received. pl guidance for further cation pl

Send lawyer legal notice to builder to refund ur booking amount.

If you have sue-moto cancelled the booking then getting refund of the earnest amount is not your legal right unless there is otherwise agreed between you both. Better to go through the contents of the agreement.

It seems if there is no provision in agreement for cancellation, the builder may not agree to cancel the booking. He may pay back negligible amount if he cancel.

Better show all related documents to local lawyer and discuss.
