Hi sir,
Recently we moved to new city i.e Gulbarga which is in karnataka state.
We have a residential plot here and we have recently built a house and we are residing in it.
Beside our house there is a family from near by village staying here for so long time even before us. They are running a diary shed, they have around 20 buffaloes, due to which the surrounding area is full of cow dung, flies, mosquitos, which irritates us and also causing contamination in the water near by. From morning till evening we even have to bear the foul smell of the cow dung and it's very difficult to stay outside even for 2 minutes.
Can we stop them from doing this. Is there a legal way for stopping this?
This is the residential area and no one is bothered about this. As this is very next to us it is very difficult for us to pass even a single day outside.
Please help us in getting this stopped in a legal manner.
thanking you,
Regards,
Prashant shahu

Lodge a complaint to the local Municipality and State Pollution Control Board then file a Writ Petition in High Court. Alternately you can file a Public Interest Litigation in High Court.

In almost all major cities the maintaining of cow shed is banned in heart of cities. So check with your local Municipal authorities.
If it is banned therein also then lodge complaint with the Municipality for its removal.
If it fails to act then you can file writ petition in high court.

Hi sir,
I had complained with the muncipal authorities regarding this and it's been more than 3 times from last 6 months they haven't resolved this and also they are not at all responding to the situation we are facing.
I have now thought to file a writ petition in high court.
can you please tell me the process, and whether I should appoint a lawyer and also tell me that how much time will it take for the judgement.
Thank you
