A father done a regd. will in favour of his younger son before his death. After 22 days he expired.Younge son wants to transfer father's house in his name. What is requird for name transfer regd. will or Succesions.

The will needs to be probated from the court of district delegate.

THE WILL NEEDS TO BE PROBATED AFTER WHICH THE NAME CAN BE MUTATED IN THE RECORDS IN YOUNGER SON'S NAME.

Please let me know in which State you resides, if you are resident of Madhya Pradesh then you are not required to get a probate of the Will, you can move an application before the concerned authority Tahsildar/Muncipal Corporation etc. to mutation of name on the basis of Will, if your state is different then, position will depend upon your local law
