A public Information officer (PIO) received a few complaints from Mr.X and on subsequent inquiry, it came to light that the requests were made by impersonation.
What are the remedies/further course of action the PIO can take against Mr X.
How to prevent/ensure that the application is filed by genuine persons?
Kindly clarify

PIO is not concerned about the real identity of seeker of information and no any enquiry therein is permitted as per RTI Act, however, information cannot be denied on this ground.
