Sir,
I had purchased the flat in 2001 at Pune. and the agreement was registered on 2001. Now the original copy of the said agreement has been misplaced but xerox copy of the same is with me. For taking Original copy, May i apply under Right to information Act for receiving the original copy ? if yes so which authority or CPIO will entertain this application.
Please let me know asap. itz urgent for me.
Thanks

There is no need to resort to RTI. You can get the copy if you know the particulars.

Yes. agree with Mr.Venu and Mr. Goyal. On the particulars available from Zerox copy you can apply for a certified copy in the office of Sub-Register where it is registered. RTI is not necessary.
