(Querist) 19 May 2010 This query is : Resolved

Constitution of india

3[CHAPTER IV.—RIGHT TO PROPERTY

300A. No person shall be deprived of his property
save by authority of law.]
will anyone quote a case example of a person deprived of his fundamental right to property by authority of any law?

land Acquisition Act itself is an example of such deprivation. Everyday land is acquired by State machinery from citizens of India without their consent.

Dear Sir
Thanks for your reply.
It should send the right message to the right people concerned that in the name of authority of law one fundamental right of hundreds of thousands of people has been deprived of day after day for the last 116 years.
Infact I needed examples from other than the LA Act, like in cases of confiscation
of property of terrorists and anti national elements. If you can provide any, it will be fine!
