All the Learned Counsels,

Sir,

Our company bought some piece of land which is sold by the Legal Heirs of Joint Family Heads consist of 4 People's. The purchased land is allotted by government under Tamil Nadu Minor Inams (Abolition and Conversion into Ryotwari) Act, 1963. Now one of the legal heir is opposing against us and filed a complaint with RDO in Revenue Divisional Office, Tamilnadu.

From our side we have appeared before RDO & given our statement.

My Question is shall we get a copy of Information using RTI (that the opposite party's written statement filed in the enquiry before RDO).

And Ryotwari Act - land is saleable or not by the landlord to others.

While on equired with some people, they told us that according to Tamil Nadu Minor Inams (Abolition and Conversion into Ryotwari) Act, 1963 the land can be enjoyed by the landlord and not to be sold..

PLEASE provide a clear statement regarding this issue, whether we can approach through RTI for getting a certified copy of the statement from RDO office & we are eligible for purchase or not the above said land.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Instead of moving RTI application, you should go through the relevant sections of the aforesaid Act which are meant for the purpose. This Act can be even traceable online.
