S L R obtention

Parent documents are not available for around 300 acres of land owned by my grand father during 1925-1935 .Only survey number available for a fraction of land. Some one has paid land tax 10 to 15 years back and got patta in their name. For obtaining S L R , what is the procedure to be adopted and how much time it will take ?

Find out as to when first survey was done in your area,get map of field book, find out from the record of rights about the name appearing and how mutations were made.First you should approach the land records department to get survey sheet of your s.no.,then register prepared on survey record, then RR is prepared.So gather all these documents from village talati.
