i have executed a registered sale agreement stating received full consideration of property.i hv also given a notarised poa giving powers to sell & an affidavit staing received full consideration of the property.this was actually for a loan for a tenure of 1 year.
i want 2 know what powers does the financier have?can he sell the property to any one?if he does can i claim for my rights/

if you have take loan and executed agreement in favour of financier terms of the agreement would determine whether he has powers to sell the property

power of attorney for sale of property needs to be registered not merely notarised

Even if sale agreement is unregd.,he can file suit for specific performance i.e. he can compel you for executing sale deed.GPA is not legal as it requires compulsory registration. However,he can pass/sell whatever title he has through these documents.
