Whether EMTD is possible on the basis of certificate of sale issued by the authorised officer under SARFAESI ACT 2002.

Yes.Possible. The certificate of sale conveys legal title in favour of the successful bidder and as such it,is legal title deed which can be deposited for the creation of equitable mortgage under Sec.57 (f)of the Transfer of Property
Act.
