Hello Sir/Madam,
My permanent address is in Bihar.
I am working in private company at Delhi. I am staying in Delhi from June 2012. I do not have any proper present address proofs.
I applied for passport mentioning present address and permanent address as in Bihar. At the time of police verification, I was at my home address in Bihar. And I told the police officer that I am working in private company at Delhi and also give I-Card of my company to police officer.
One month after police verification, in the passport website it is showing "Adverse PVR SCN dispatched on 04/08/2015". I can not get any present address proofs in Delhi.
I dont have proper present address proofs and I want to cancel my passport application, as I am not sure where I will be. Please suggest me whether I have an option to cancel my passport application?
Thanks,
Chandan kumar

Address proof of present place of residence is mandatory in Passport application and Police verification thereof, hence there is no relaxation. However, in my opinion you can approach , the local Ward Councillor of the area for issue of a Residence certificate, which can solve your problem.

Local Councillor can issue certificate.
Local Post Master can issue I card. Try to get card from local post office.
You may be having rent agreement, open Bank account on the basis of your PAN and rent agreement and you would be having your Bank passbook of present address.
