Sir,
A person named P wants to sell his father’s immovable property. His father named S and aged 55 yrs, had a warm fight with his only son. The father left his own house at that time and never back again, wandered here and there and got married with other lady in different village, 20 km away from his native village. His first wife expired during this collapse. The father is living happily with new wife. The father has 1/2 share in a piece of land. This land does not have any history of being to four generations. The son P is in a lot of trouble and wants to sell this land property
Is the son able to sell this land property? If yes, then according to which law, he (the son) is permitted? Both father and the son belong to Hindu family and inhabitants of Bihar.
Thanks.

He can only sell half of the land. Remaining half belongs to the father. He may anytime challenge the sale.
