Whether such order is maintainable?

yes order is maintanable . if father is unable to maintain himself moral obligation of daughter to pay maintenace . she may not have any income of her own but her husband must be earning well .
see judgement of supreme court in AIR 1987 sc 1100Dr. Vijaya Manohar Arbat v. Keshireo Rajaram Sawai .
although judgement was under section 125 crp c same principle would be applicable
