Short term notice

my friend has join a company before 8 months and now got another offer. But he need to join within 5 days.

On short term notice ,employer is not paying salary. What is legal provision in this regard...... pls advice

as per previous employer terms and condition obey or otherwise you will lost the salary.

if terms and conditions of appointment letter is not fulfill.

If your friend is enclined to breach any terms of a service contract where any money payment is attracted as compensation to the employer co.,then certainly it can with hold payments due to your friend to that limit.
