Hi,
When filing SLP in person (petitioner-in-person), do I still need to submit Memo of Appearance along with the petition?
Also, has anyone tried filing SLP using Supreme Court e-filing facility?
Thank you.
Regards.

Memo of appearance can be filed only by lawyers. You need not to file it and there are several persons who have exhausted e-filing as asked by you.

Hello Ajay ji,
I am student of Law (4th semester) and am an engineer by qualification with over 15 years of experience. I would be able to present the petition as such, but do you still think that it helps to present the petition with an AOR?
Regards.

Despite of your vast experience in particular field and even you being a student of law, you are not a lawyer hence you cannot present the petition.

Hello Raj ji,
If a non-lawyer cannot present his petition himself, what is the purpose of providing this option of filing as Petitioner in Person or Party in Person? Please clarify.
Thank you.

Hi,
I went through the full process of filing the SLP (Crl) as Petitioner in Person and also appeared before the SC to argue in person.
Memo of Appearance is not needed. Only an Application to Appear and Argue the matter in person is to be included along with the SLP.
Regards.

SUrely one can file the petition as party in persons..but non legal professionals who are only verse with the facts can seek the help fromn legal professionals for deciding the question of law and grounds and remedy which is beyond the scope of non lawyers..only 2 perosns can file the petitions in SCI either party in perosns or AOR..and majority of lawyers are also filing their cases as party in perosns
