sir
I would like to know when can the widow ask for the right to her share of property from the HUF property.
The problem her is that the widow had left her husbands home after his death as she was working in a nearby town and she was surviving on her earnings but since her in laws had some property and her share was being denied saying that she is not staying with them what abt her right to her husbands share?
how to provide her share so that she can get her right?

Widow's husband was entittle to claim his share in the HJF, after his death his legal heirs means deceased's wife , sons and daughters are entittle to claim their share in the share of deceased.

agree with Rajoo. Widow being the legal heir of her husband acquires equal share with her children as her husband had it means she and her children have the right on the share of her husband in the HUB property.
