Hi Sir,
I am having a flat in Panvel. There was a open parking concept for two wheelers when I purchased a flat. I do not own any parking lot and there is a provision for open parking inside society.
Lately I have rented the premise and now my tenant is facing a problem with respect to parking. Society is insisting that all tenants should park two wheelers out side the society and some owners have flattend the tyre of my tenant without intimating him.
I am of the view that my tenant should atleast be able to park one two wheeler as I would have done the same if i used to live in the apartment.
Now what step can i take against the other owners who are harassing my tenant?

You should talk with the other members of the society and should amicably settle the issue as you have not purchased any space for parking so you cannot provide better rights than you to your tenants.

the society cannot do it....you may put the society to notice.
as per SC orders, the parking space is not be sold to the owner...its a matter of right.
since you have rented out the premises, the parking area for all obvious reasons has also moved to the tenant.
in case this nuisance is continued by the society then take legal action.

Mr. Kiran is right. If the society have a open parking place for all members, then your tenant will also use it without any restrictions or problem. In this regard, you first approach to the Chairman of Society who looks after the complex overall and maintain the society. If other members with an ill intention makes trouble to your tenant then issue a legal notice to the Chairman of Society.
