Dear Sir......When a Public limited company issues a Termination letter....what actions can a company take against the employee for not replying towards the termination notice.

Nonce can force a person to give a reply unless the query is a statutory one.

Myself is working in Private sector shipyard as a Officer in stores department. From 16 June 20165 company issued a notice for holidays declared untill further notice. Again on 12th Aug 2016 company issued a notice to report on duty from 13th Aug 2016. Myself have reported the same on 13,15 & 19th Aug 2016. Myself was suffering from EXTERNAL PILES, I had submitted a medical certifate of the same from 23/08/2016 for 20days. After submitting the same company issued a notice for Absentism. Today again I have recieved a notice for Unauthorised Absentism, as I m employed with other company I have not reported after the medical Leave period. I m confused as to resign from the post or wait for termination. Salary is pending from Feb2016....Pls guide me sir.

Please elaborate the query with respect to your attendance in the present Company wherein you are employed.

If you have joined another company after receiving termination notice then one of the workable option is to resign from close of office hours a day preceding DOJ in new company , and get your leave regularized in old company.

Without resigning previous company, joining new company is irregular.

Notice of termination by employer: is otherwise time period set by employer after the expiry of which employer shall issue termination order and separate employer-employee relationship.
During such notice period employee is on his/her toes to find another source of livelihood/employment.
The only thing is that employ should notify the employer that he/she (has joined elsewhere) is ending employer-employee relationship, before expiry of notice period.
You have submitted leave application and hope you have proof of submission,dispatch, and delivery, and defeat the claim of absenteeism, of employer.
You might have submitted resignation by post.
Compile everything and close the matter and demand to supply acknowledgment and acceptance of resignation, leave application and approval, correct FnF statement and settlement payout by abnk DD,salary slips of all months,service certificate,relieving letter,Form16 as per correct FnF statement, NOC/NDC etc etc..............................by Redg.
