Transfer of divorce case one district to another district within state

(Querist) 26 June 2014 This query is : Resolved 
Dear Sir

can lady make request for transfer her divorce case file by her husband from civil court (amravati district ) to her own district civil court(wardha district ) , both district in Maharashtra state.OR she want to move only high court for transfer application.

Please help me experts

Yes, she will have file an application u/s 24 of CPC in the high court only.

I agree with the experts that on an application for transfer before the high court she can get the case transferred to her home town court.

can lady transfer this case in mumbai through High court but her residential address proof is of wardha only.

Wardha is within Maharashtra, hence she can move an application before the Mumbai High court for transferring the case to Mumbai, if she satisfies the court that she has valid reason for seeking transfer of the case to Mumbai though her residential address if Wardha.
