This query is : Resolved
A special voluntary retirement case of general insurance industry is heard in Supreme court.Arguments are concluded and the judgement is reserved. Written submissions are also over. We are waiting for the judgement to be pronounced. It is 10 years old case.
At this point of time a sudden development has taken place. Some aggrieved people of general insurance industry had filed a WP in one of the high courts of the country in 2006 questioning the same gezette notification. Now these people have got their WP transferred to Supreme Court.
1. Will this development affect our Reserved Judgement ?
2. What twist and turn this may take in Supreme Court ?
3. What can we do now as petitioners ?
4. Will the reserved judgement be further
delayed ?
5. What our advocates can do now ?

With the information provided by the author, in my opinion Mr. Barman's opinion will be most suitable and is convincing more than enough. The very purpose of WP getting transferred to supreme court at this stage is to inter link the related issue for more proper adjudication of the simultaneous issue, though the judgment reserved will get more delayed, chances for more results are likely, wait and watch.

reserved judgement means judgement to be taken on the issue when heard only, nothing new things can interfere with, if so taken then you would be called to have your say,in the issue that is called natural justice my dear friend!
