Hi, i have recorded a video of a riot for which crime has been registered in police station. Can the recording of that crime can be used in court as evidence?

You make available the video recording to the Police and leave the final decision to them.

Yes. Video recorded is admissible in the court of law as an evidence under the Evidence Act.
Normally electronic evidence produced before the court is sent to forensic examination to find out if it is not edited or doctored in any way.
So, if you have such a recording, then it is advisable that you maintain the same as it is, without editing it. If you edit, it is likely that it will lose its importance and will not be relied upon by the court.

Are you a complainant or atleast a witness to the case registered by police?, if you want to help police in their prosecution, you can very well approach them offering your services to assist them.
