The DV complaint can is not FIR under section 498A, 406 IPC criminal complaint. The DV complaint under the Protection of Women from the Domestic Violence Act,2005 is for getting protection order against the husband for preventing him to inflict any act of domestic violence against the wife like hitting or using physical force against her etc.
The other relief the wife can seek is monthly maintenance and financial compensation from the husband for acts of domestic violence. The wife can even impose her right to residency against her husband.

Divorce is no cake walk, you fight out her DV complaint case and get it dismissed first than only plan for divorce case.

Dont wait for divorce from court, do some other setup and enjoy life. These court cases wont get you anything, you will have to feed 10 lawyers for 20 years. I agree with advocate kamakshi gaarus advice.

given facts do not indicate end of street. Try peaceful reconciliation as far as possible.
